A conference about the story of the 885th Bombardment Squadron has been held in Castiglioncello, Rosignano Marittimo, Italy on October 8th. A large and attentive audience attended. Sgt. Ralph Cavaliere from New York, a veteran of the 885th, was also remotely attending thanks to a video connection with the United States. The audience warmly welcomed Sgt. Cavaliere, who talked about his Italian war experience and had the opportunity to meet again, after some 70 years, two people he had met during his stay in Rosignano.
